Description

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I walk with children between 4-7 years old? ?
Yes, but you have to request a private tour. Children of that age have a slower pace therefore requires extra attention from designated guides, for this reason they cannot go with group tours. This tour is not suitable for children under 4 years old. The minimum age for frequent group visits is 8 years.
Can I wear open sandals or Chacos?
Yes, you can.
Do I have to make a reservation?
Yes, we require you to make a reservation.
You have to let us know in advance that you are indeed coming. If you come to our location and we do not have guides available, you will have to wait between 2 and 3 hours. If you book, we guarantee to start exactly at the time you booked your tour.
Do I need a four-wheel drive vehicule to get to the location ?
No. Our location will take you to our check in meeting point and the road is a national route, so it is in perfect condition up to there. After that, we will drive you along a dirt road in our 4×4 vehicle. This is in case you do not have one.
Do you provide transportation from our hotel or place where we are staying ?
Yes. We have different options available for transport. To request a quote, contact us, either by WhatsApp (506 72291491), phone call or by e-mail.
How long or distance does the tour take ?
Our tour from start to finish lasts 3 hours in total.
Do you need a guide for La Leona Waterfall ?
This waterfall can only be accessed by hiring a guide. The reason is very simple, the waterfall is not easy to find. On the way you have to cross rivers, caves and we also have to swim. You will always have at least one or two guides at your side at all times during the walk.
